So anyways, like the title of this post says, these are my Spring makeup favorites.
Let's start with the lips, shall we? First of all, if you've never exfoliated your lips, you gotta try it. We're talkin' baby smooth. I used to use Mary Kay Satin Lips, which is awesome, but recently discovered this little guy:
Lip Exfoliator by Elf. It looks similar to bogies from a troll in the Forbidden Forest in Harry Potter, but don't let that discourage you. I am a lover of lipsticks, but a lot of my favorites are matte colors which leave my lips looking like a dry, flaky hot mess. Or at least used to thanks to this little tube of heaven (that's only $3 by the way.) It hurt a little the first few times I used it, but loved how my lips felt after so I kept using it. You get used to it, and your lips look/feel like... something really soft?
Moving on, EOS lip balm. You gotta keep those babies moisturized! They smell delicious & they work. Enough said.
I recently discovered Nars Cosmetics, yeah I live under a rock. My favorite lip colors for Spring:
Giza lip gloss, Chelsea Girls lip laquer, and Lodhi satin pencil. I'm really feeling oranges and corals, and these ones are perfect.
My last, but certainly not least, favorite lip product for Spring is Melted Nude from Too Faced. This little thing has some serious staying power.
For the face. Nars blush in Orgasm (again, diggin' corals as the weather gets warmer), and the Nars Multiple in Copacabana. You can use the multiple on your lips, cheeks, and eyes. Hence the name, Multiple. (come on, I gotta throw my teacher voice in at least once!) I use the multiple to highlight my cheekbones, cupids bow, and anything else you want.. brighter? And for the blush, well I use it as blush.
And there you have it, friends. If you stuck with me through that ramble, THANKS! If you have some makeup favorites for Spring, send them my way. I'm always looking for a reason to add to my collection (sorry wallet, and Dom)
That's all she wrote,
