Excitement

Lacey had beautiful "little" 9lb 10oz Mason William on March 20th. He is absolutely perfect by the way. I'm currently blogging from the backseat of the Touareg en route to Baltimore listening to The Gaslight Anthem.

Speaking of Gaslight.. Dom & I are going to see them in June! I'm so so so excited. You may not know, but I have a slight obsession with this band.. & when I say slight, I mean I feel like I'm cheating if I listen to anything else haha, but really we are so pumped.

Also a "little" something that I'm excited about.. I'm graduating from PSU on May 5th. I can't believe it's really time to graduate. The past 4 years flew by! I'm really excited, but I'm already missing school.

As I said before my family & I are en route to Baltimore to spend Easter with Lacey, Shawn, & my perfect little nephews. We're about to pull in, so I suppose I should get off this thing.

Fresh Start

I started this thing years ago, & never kept up with it.  I probably won't this time either, but here goes.  So here I sit, recovering from my second hip surgery, chomping at the bit to get back on my bike.  2 weeks of being a complete couch potato, I'm getting a little stir crazy.  Today was first time I've been on a bike (stationary of course) since the surgery, & it felt great!  My dad has been riding with his buddies a lot lately, & I may be a little bitter about it.  I got a Specialized Hardrock Sport Disc 29 (a really sweet mountain bike for all you non bike savvy folks) for christmas, & I got to ride it twice before getting my hip carved like a turkey.  TWICE!  That's it!  Needless to say, I'm ready for winter & recovery to be over.

Ok, enough whining.  LACEY IS HAVING ANOTHER BABY!  & I mean SOON!  In 10 days, I will be the proud aunt of another baby boy!   I also get the pleasure of being their nanny this summer, which is a huge deal.  They're moving back to Pennsylvania next month, & I'll get to see those cuties anytime I please.

Dom's a Penn State grad, & on the hunt for a job.  I'm student teaching in the best kindergarten classroom ever (I'm only a little biased).  17 little 5 & 6 year olds have been filling my life with hilarious stories that I will never forget.  Those little kiddos make me love what I do.

Dom & I have been filling our off time together watching tv shows more than I'd like to admit.  Right now we're into Dexter & The Walking Dead.  Patiently waiting for Breaking Bad & True Blood to come back on.  We aren't very adventurous, actually we're quite boring.  We've been busy making plans for when I can finally walk again (I know, I know.. enough with the whining), so we aren't quite so boring.  Picnics, trips to the swimming hole, Florida vacations to visit friends, fishing trips, the zoo, museums, Washington DC.. all kinds of stuff to look forward to, & I can't wait to tell you about every single one!
